“With the topic of “Good vs. Evil”, I wanted to explore my ideas about inner-conflict and each person’s different struggles with themselves. For myself, I am unable to accept that there is absolute good or evil in any individual, and am fascinated by the balance between them, which I believe helps determine one’s character. It’s all about perspective. Do you choose to live your life one way or another, or let yourself free-fall into the void without direction or a moral compass? Does indulgence make one’s life richer and more fulfilled, or does it leave you tainted and worn? Is love the epitome of goodness, or is it purity in emotion and life? Or, is that same purity the absence of love, and thus evil? There are no absolute answers, just the ongoing internal duality that is human nature.”
